Today, we finished hearing and watching “British Invasion: Gerry &
The Pacemakers – It’s Gonna Be All Right, 1963-1965,”
yet another
DVD in this series by Reelin’ in the Years Productions.

As with the other DVDs we’ve watched from this series, this one
was very well done, with numerous performances from 1963 to 1965.
Interspersed with these performances were informative 2009
interviews with Gerry Marsden and Bill Harry, founder of the Mersey Beat
newspaper. Also included was footage of the band on tour and
interviews with Gerry given during those tours.

Apparently, Gerry & The Pacemakers disbanded in 1967. “British
Invasion: Gerry & The Pacemakers – It’s Gonna Be All Right,
1963-1965” doesn’t disappoint, and I look forward to watching
more in this series.
